To Take Time or to Let it Fly

It's been a looong time since I last posted a blog. Truth is, I believe I mentioned this before, I'm not very adept at things to do with technology, especially internet type things. However this is no excuse and I have found that what I majorly lack is an organization of tasks. So, I've decided that there will be tasks that I do daily, and ones I do on certain days of the week. Hopefully this will be one of the daily ones.

How do I plan on doing this? I bought a magical notebook into which I have daily goals/tasks, notes on specifics per task, and a grocery list.

Why a grocery list amidst the notes and goals? Having a grocery list section ensures that I will open this notebook daily and will, therefore, notice that I still have tasks left to do!

When you think about it, to be able to organize yourself, you first need to know yourself. But of course you, being you, should know what works best for you right? Yet, for the past year I have had to do trial after trial of various organization tricks, none of which worked and I slacked in my tasks. Well, half the tasks the I'd think in the morning that I need to do before the day ended, were forgotten by the time I reached a point where I could do that. Oh Sharayah, can't you get this right?

Well, so far my current method seems to be working! I have managed to get more done in the past few days task wise than I have in about a years time. Ok, so at the moment a bit of an exaggeration, but I have no doubt that, should this method hold in success, by the end of this year I will be extensively more in the "task completion" margin than the "task pending" one.

In this magical notebook I have written, "I have found that things that take time tend to be of more value." It's amazing how many things this can apply to. Blogging is one. Another is that it is far healthier to buy raw vegetables, cut them up, and cook them yourself, right? Yet the convenience of quick fix foods because "there is no time" has become dominant.

This may just be me, but I have found that cutting it up myself and cooking it and taking the time has been quite rewarding! I'm eating healthier because I'm choosing a wider variety of ingredients and I'm cooking it in my own sauces that are far healthier than what I could buy in a store. This evolved out of necessity rather but I quite enjoy it and am glad for it.

Relationships are another that become valuable to us the more time we spend developing them, whether it be family, friend, or more than.

If you have no desire to pursue it, then it is of no value to you. Simply put. I'm lecturing to myself mostly here because I truly believe it and my actions need to show it more so than they currently do.

I think that's about all that is in my head at the moment and so I shall say good evening and, hope to be back tomorrow haha.
